Terms of Service

Use of the "Tefillin Click" app is subject to the terms outlined below. Using the app constitutes full acceptance of these terms.

1. Nature of the Service

The app connects Jewish people interested in laying tefillin with nearby volunteers. The service is entirely volunteer-based, free of charge, and not commercially compensated. The app is not a party to the actual meeting between participants.

2. Registration and eligibility

• Minimum age: 13 years (16 in EU countries).
• A valid active phone number is required.
• Multiple accounts, impersonation, or fictitious use is prohibited.

3. Code of conduct

• Users must conduct themselves respectfully and without discrimination.
• Harassment, hateful speech, or inappropriate behavior is prohibited.
• Religious pressure is prohibited. The service is open to any Jewish person interested.
• The platform may not be used for commercial, political, or sectarian promotion.

4. Limitation of liability

Important: The app is a tool for connecting parties only. Participants are solely responsible for their in-person meeting. The app operators shall not be liable for any damage, injury, loss, or expense arising from the conduct of any participant in the meeting or from the meeting itself. Use of the service is at your sole risk.

5. Safety

• If you feel threatened or uncomfortable: use the in-app reporting mechanism.
• In a real emergency: call 100 (Israeli police) or 101 (MDA — emergency medical).
• The chat exists for operational communication only.

6. Termination

We may terminate your use of the app in case of violation of these terms, repeated reports, or suspected malicious activity. You may delete your account at any time through this page or in-app.

7. Intellectual property

All rights to the app, design, logo, and source code are reserved to the app operators.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Israeli law. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in the Tel Aviv district, Israel.

9. Changes to terms

We may update the terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email and in-app.
